For nearly two decades, Dr. Anne Damisa has reported, written, taught and spoken about the power of communication. Her journalism career included years with ThisDay Newspapers in Nigeria and later independent international reporting.
Her work has been recognized with a Media Merit Award for Excellence in Health Care Reporting from Johns Hopkins University and the Nigerian Institute of Journalism. Her Ph.D. research at Liberty University examined why false information spreads and how communicators can counter it.
